In the fourth quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing app landscape in Qatar on the Android platform showed interesting trends. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we explore the performance of the top five apps in this category.

Uber - Request a ride demonstrated consistent activity throughout Q4. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with a notable peak at approximately 5.2K in the final week of December. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at around 294K and ending the quarter at 288K.

badrgo experienced varied download trends, peaking at 3.5K in early December before dropping to 2.4K by the end of the month. Active users, however, showed an overall upward trend, reaching about 30.2K by the end of December.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had stable download numbers, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 1.2K. Active users remained around 3.1K to 3.2K, indicating a steady usage pattern.

TaxiF Driver - Be the Captain! saw a modest increase in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 754, while active users hovered between 4K and 4.2K throughout the quarter, maintaining a consistent engagement level.

Finally, Ryde: Request affordable rides showed a gradual increase in downloads, reaching 720 by the end of December. Despite the absence of active user data, the download trend suggests growing interest.
